Currently, the Setanta Sports channel is available on DIRECTV, DISH Network, and GlobeCast WorldTV, 24 hours per day. We are also available on IPTV providers such as GekTV. IPTV providers feature the same programming with the exception of Southern Hemisphere rugby union (this is blacked out only on IPTV due to rights issues). Setanta Sports is diligently working to ensure that the Setanta Sports channel will be available on other platforms as well. Keep watch on the www.setanta.com website for updates.

Yes, the Setanta Sports channel is available in many pubs/clubs in the US. In Canada, bars and clubs can watch Setanta Sports by ordering the International Sports Pak. Use the Setanta Sports channel venue finder to find a pub with Setanta Sports in the US or Canada.

Yes. Setanta Sports' extensive line up includes live rights over 100 exlusive matches. When the live time of 2 great fixtures clash, we will on some occasions be able to broadcast both at the same time. Please check our website www.setanta.com for additional English Premier League matches that will be broadcast on DIRECTV's channel 670 ("Setanta Xtra"). This channel is outside from our 24/7 channel 615 on DIRECTV, and this is the only platform that offers Setanta Xtra.
We also have MUTV and Chelsea TV, which show EVERY Premiership & Champions League match that Manchester United & Chelsea play, delayed.

Yes, through ChelseaTV & MUTV, subscribers can see every Premiership & Champions League match that Chelsea & Manchester United play. These matches are not live. They are shown on a delayed basis. ChelseaTV & MUTV are not included in the International Sports Pak in Canada.

Champions League matches are played on Tuesday and Wednesdays every other week. Another broadcaster has first rights to the Champions League. They pick one match from Tuesday and one match from Wednesday. Then Setanta Sports picks our matches. Setanta Premium will show some of the matches live in pubs/clubs only on closed circuit TV and then the Setanta Sports channel will show those matches on a delayed basis. The Setanta Sports channel will show one match from Tuesday live and one match from Wednesday live. If the other broadcaster picks either Chelsea or Manchester United, we will then show these matches on a delayed basis on ChelseaTV/MUTV. The Setanta Sports channel has exclusive rights in the US to ChelseaTV and MUTV, so subscribers will see every Premiership & every Champions League match that Chelsea/MUTV play.

Setanta Sports was established in 1996 in the United States. It began as a Pay Per View and Closed Circuit television business and was extremely successful serving a passionate audience (primarily European expatriates) live sports broadcasts to pubs and clubs across the country. On April 26, 2005, a full sports television channel dedicated to European and international football, world-class rugby and other sports was established. The channel successfully launched with the live broadcast of the Champions League on the DIRECTV and GlobeCast WorldTV platforms as a premium channel.
